MY APPROACH

Even the most competent individuals and groups can find themselves overwhelmed when faced with dynamic challenges. I enable individuals and teams to achieve their full potential, facing challenges with a fresh perspective. I pay attention to the organisational structures and systems but also to the emotional dynamics at play.

As a consultant, my work will start with a 'diagnostic phase' when I meet those I am working with to identify the key issues. I will then develop in collaboration with the client a bespoke series of interventions or events designed to support the desired development.

As a coach, I seek to establish a safe non-judgemental space where I can support you to reflect and explore situations from a fresh perspective. I believe in and respect the innate ability of the individual and am non-directive in my approach. I only give advice if asked to do so.

All interventions are continuously reviewed with regular formal evaluations. This is to ensure the work is impactful, effective and appropriate for the desired outcomes. The approach is based upon an appreciative enquiry and seeks to build on ones strengths and learn from ones weaknesses.

Liz has had a rich and varied career, with over 20 years’ experience in a leadership role initially in education (formal and informal) and then leading two award winning charitable organisations. She has a passion for leadership development and draws upon a range of system development approaches including psychodynamic and systemic to help individuals, teams and organisations be the best they can be. She is experienced in team development and facilitating leadership and organisational development.
Liz brings an in depth knowledge of implementing innovative projects to improve outcomes for marginalised groups within the system. She is passionate about collaborative leadership and giving voice that can be heard and resonate through the wider context.
Liz has a MA: Consulting and Leading Organisations - psychodynamic and systemic approaches from the Tavistock & Portman. She holds a ILM Level 7 Certificate for Executive and Senior Level Coaches and Mentors and is a EMCC Practitioner. Liz is a full member of the EMCC and ILM. She adheres to the Global Code of Ethics.
